The Museums of Los Gatos are pleased to introduce:
SCHOOL TOURS 2007–2008
Tours of the Exhibitions:
Are available for THIRD GRADE CLASSES. The tours are designed to enhance the curriculum standards for Grade 3 History/Social Science.
Tour Description: Students will complete a scavenger hunt for Los Gatos history facts. Small groups rotate through five stations, learning about Los Gatos over three decades, analyzing changes in the town's and structure, and forming opinions about historical events. Tour Times: September 2007–June 2008. Flexible times – call for an appointment – 408-395-7375. Tour Length: 45 minutes. Cost: $2.00 per student – $40.00 per class of 20 students. A day of local history . . . Make it a day of Los Gatos history, and visit various historic sites around town! All teachers will receive a complimentary copy of the Walking Tour of Los Gatos, and a suggested site visit map to help in planning a half day field trip of community history.
